Phase 1: Educational Center Memorial - the name says it all. Constructed by the Erskine Alumni in 1914, Memorial Hall stands as an Erskine landmark. Today, new technology and an expanding student enrollment blend voices on the historic stage that Erskine students for generations have known as Memorial Hall. With total square footage more than three times the size of the original Memorial Hall, the new educational center will house classrooms, faculty offices, a performance hall, an electric music studio, a computer lab, and more. Erskine believes that music and fine arts should be at the heart of a liberal arts education. This new facility will be matched in quality by Erskine's outstanding music faculty and talented music students. |
Phase 2: Performance Center Adding to the richness of the performing arts, Memorial Performance Hall needs to be expanded and its capabilities enhanced to allow it to shine again with Memorial performances. Phase 2 of the renovation and construction project will modernize the performance hall while preserving the classic structure. Once completed, Memorial Performance Hall will be proud to host outstanding concerts that will transform the area into a cultural center. Erskine is committed to the Fine Arts, to the performers who have given so much, and to those yet to come. That's why Memorial is the cornerstone of the Gold Campaign. |
